About The Central City Catholic Youth Choir

The Central City Catholic Youth Choir was formed in 199_ when a few parents and their kids wanted to express their Catholic faith in song and praise. They decided that a choir representing the youth from the Central City would be a good start. Most of these youth have similar life experiences and work, live and go to school and church in the same area.
The group asked Ms. Arlene Skwierawski, former North Division High School Music Director to lead the choir. She is also the Director of Music for All Saints Church and Saint Francis Adult Choir. She has directed many choirs, especially youth choirs singing religious, spirited music.
The choir has been together for ___ years and they have been making beautiful music ever since. The heart felt praise and worship of these youth are very clear in the songs they sing. The choir also sings in other languages to reflect the cultures they represent. No matter what language they sing in, God is praised vibrantly and triumphantly!
